Al Gore's son's arrest is a sign of disturbing trend
July 15, 2007

It is easy to overlook the real subject in the middle of all the cyber-prattle going on over Al Gore's son’s speeding arrest with drugs supposedly in his possession.

Message boards are talking about this privileged son getting off easy. The cyber geniuses are taking cracks at former Vice President Al Gore. His kid was driving, allegedly at 100 mph. Some are even strong-minded to turn this into a broadminded vs. old-fashioned tirade.
Forget all of that for a moment. The real example to be learned is that drug abuse is getting higher among young people.
So many families in Florida are familiar with of the threats of prescription drug abuse. As per Florida Medical Examiners details published last month, prescription drug-related demises happen nearly three times more regularly in the state than illegal drug-related demises.

Doctors say many people incorrectly think prescription drugs are more harmless than street drugs. Young boys talk about prescription drugs on Web sites. They steal drug from home. Almost 60 percent of those who report abuse, claim they get them from their friends or family.

The 24-year-old son of the previous vice president is now in receipt of drug treatment, and hopefully will get his life back in order. And if any good thing is to come out of this, perhaps it is the light being shed on the crisis.

This has nothing to do with broadminded vs. old-fashioned or Al Gore's global warming advices. But, in Gore's words, this is about a complicated truth that parents need to be aware of. And they need to speak to their kids about it.

Al Gore should not take a shot at the White House

Saturday July 21, 2007

Since Al Gore left position of vice-president of the United-States of America, he has been keenly participating to global warming topic. He adventures himself on international tours to give dialogues on global warming issues (and how to fight the heating of our planet). Surprisingly, they are tremendously successful, especially in the USA. His “green” lobbying is to track citizens of the world to take some considerate steps to struggle global warming.
All of his dialogues in the world on global warming are quite parallel. For an extensive keynote, Al Gore takes time to go over the fundamentals of science on how global warming first came into view, then rolls on to other topics, such as giving some terrifying facts (statistics, graphs, etc.), and concludes his speech by bringing solutions to fight our worse enemy - that we it appears that created-, global warming. For a small keynote, he mostly focuses on bringing particulars and tries to convince his listeners that global warming is a priority and must be dealt with immediately.
His present lobbying on saving our world from natural disasters is appreciated and admired by many of people, and global warming can only vanish if the population pitches in by taking their initiatives. He should certainly keep on make his dialogues around the globe to induce people that global warming can cause major tragedy and can have an enormous crash on today’s age group and the upcoming ones. Al Gore, do not misuse your time being president of the nation.
